A mix of our core artists came together for this special conceptual compilation, where each was tasked of creating two separate pieces residing in specific regions on the frequency spectrum. After submission they were then blindly combined with a complimentary piece without any arrangement editing. The end result was a successful exercise in randomized techno and telepathic collaboration.

Revy's first encounter with this unruly jamband of extra terrestrials was in 2009. Naturally, it was a perfect piece for releasing on bleepsequence.

Put those synapses to work with these driving tracks from Pittsburgh-based Relative Q. Deep textures and spacey hypnotics indicate a lot of subtractive measures were taken to get those grooves removed from the mind of this ultrawizard and translated into audio sequences. After countless hours of intensive sound warping research, the bleepsequence collective has reached new heights (and depths) of sonic modulation studies. The bleep team was tasked to look to the iconic shapes of sound waves for inspiration: square, sine, triangle, sawtooth. From there, the interpretations evolved dramatically and grew beyond human control in some cases, and finally the entire collection combined into a mind expanding milestone to mark twenty releases, and two years.

Bleepsequence launches as a netlabel with this unique collaborative project bringing together a handful of artists from around the world. This compilation was created by forming a shared collection of stripped down looped audio elements and setting foundations for rebuilding the sounds into new abstract structures. We hope you enjoy the results of our first experiment.
